Lesson Plan 2
I cant remember what you girls said you were doing for your second lesson plan (i think one of you said that you were doing favorite types of weather), but I will be doing my lesson plan on something to do with collecting weather over a period of time and putting their data into a graph...maybe weather patterns, forecasts, or predictions??
let me know what you are doing too so we don't do the same!!

For the podcast, I will be talking about the importance of having a complex idea for the project, tapping rich data sources (researching websites, books, etc..and using a hot list), and how this drives the students' learning experiences.

We will have the students measure the distance from Kalamazoo Michigan to Lusaka Africa. We will discuss with the students the differences in the northern and southern hemispheres, (note the distance each city from the equator).
